I was just wondering what everyones thoughts are on Kim Beazley's idea that the Howard government are somehow responsible for the sinking boat full of asylum seekers/illegal immigrants?

IMO, I can see where he could find a way to blame the Howard government for it, but personally i dont think you can hold them responsible.

I think that Beazley by blaming Howard is acting so idiotically. There is no way Howard should be blamed for it.

Absolutely stupid, but i guess there'll be some people that believe his statement.
