Have any of the Fergie fledging rejects prospered since being sold? Curtis, Higginbotham, Johnson, Savage, Wallwork, Clegg etc. have all become solid professional footballers, but there have been no regrets in seeing them ply their trade at other clubs.

It's probably crap (sourced from the Daily Mirror), but here's the latest striker to be linked to a move to Old Trafford.

Miroslav Klose to Old Trafford

Manchester United have been offered Germany striker Miroslav Klose for £5million, according to the Daily Mirror.

Yes please. At least that would guarantee that those rumours that he would come to Maine Rd woudl be false. For £5 million you could do a lot better, for the £7-8 million that has been quoted on other websites you would be insane for a player that is severely limited IMO.

Kaiserslautern have been told to sell their prized possession to help meet a tax bill of £30million.

Although German clubs such as Bayern Munich would no doubt be interested, Kaiserslautern would prefer Klose to sign for an overseas team.

There are a few reports around saying that Kaiserslautern have sold the rights to Klose to a lottery firm, and it is the company that are pushing the deal through, not the club. As such I would say it would be a case of highest bidder.

Hate to say it, but Gary Nev has been in fine form since this unimportant match a few weeks back ;)
