Correct. I did two interviews, one on DBC (appears in August) and one on Sports Game Dev (appears in September).

Game Informer is sold in EB Games.
Explains why I've never seen it.

Can you confirm if an afl game is in the works by someone? Reply including vowels to confirm if this is the case.

There are people on this forum in a better place to answer that question than I.

All I can say is that Big Ant are not making one.

If a company decided to make an unlicensed game, could they still use the MCG, docklands as a venue?
If they got the licenses from the stadium owners, yes. So in a few years Docklands wouldn't but the MCG could.

If the AFL decides to invest in a game being developed, would your team be likely to put their hand up or are you more or less out of the AFL game business? It's kind of depressing how AFL Live gave a lot of us hope of seeing a solid AFL series only for that to be crushed by Tru Blu. Sure AFL Live 2 have us a ton of content but the core mechanics were such a step backwards and a major let down.

Thankfully DBC17 will keep me busy over the summer but come March I'll be annoyed again lol.

The AFL is so frustrating. When it comes to video games it seems like it's a real problem to have their name on it. Yet you can walk into Kmart or Best & Less and buy mountains of dodgy and poor quality shit with their licenses on it.

I think there's once change that would make a HUGE difference to the actual mechanics of gameplay, tactics allowing you to move players positions around and change where they run offensively/defensively. Kind of like how formations work on FIFA. For example if you're up by a goal late you could grab your HFF and drag him back to play as a loose man.

I think if you did this it would mean that every game would be different, and therefore would take a lot longer for the novelty to wear off. It would also reward good 'coaching' in addition to just being good at controlling the players
