Are we any chance of actually getting this made? I mean obviously would prefer BigAnt over any one else (that is realistic going to make the game) Would love to be able to play a new version of AFL Live

It's in development by Wicked Witch, so we're probably getting a PS4 version of AFL for the Wii.

Since licensing seems like the biggest hurdle, it'd be neat if Tru Blu and Big Ant could come together and work to negotiate a way to make a unlicensed Football game. That's the only way I could see it happening at this point, which is still a long shot. I doubt Tru Blu would be interested in doing something like that. I've basically given up on expecting anything good from a license AFL game or a Football game in general, after Big Ant was let go from development. Tru Blu basically admitted 2 wasn't even a good game when they announced it on Facebook, and it would need a further update.

I just want a decent career mode, accurate trading (Nat Fyfe for Sam Grimley and #36 should never happen) , new players added into every draft pool (unlike AFL2 which had the same blokes every year, and ran out of young players by season 3) and a creation hub.

This Is What I Personally Want To See In AFL Live 3
AFL Live 2 career mode wasn’t the best. By adding some new things it’ll make AFL Live 3 career mode a lot better. An examples is.
Training modes - So you can do some training drills and get graded on it. The higher the grade, the higher your levels go up.
It was one of my favourite things on AFL Live but also if a career mode path as a Coach where you can create a new team in the league would be amazing. If this does come back I would like more options for logos, Guernseys and etc.

AFL Live 1 with a proper marking system, better AI and a tweaked set shot system would do it.
Sync up some of the janky animations as well and then you can start worrying about a career mode or be a pro mode. In the Career mode though they HAVE to downgrade the % chances of name generation in the draft (i.e. no chance of Lance Ablett playing for Brisbane) and the trading (Pick 23 48 and Geary for the Number 1 pick doesn't work)

I like the simplicity of AFL Live's marking system. It definitely needed some tweaking though. Particularly how the ball or the players went through other players.

It was good for the most part but got very frustrating when, with 2 players under the ball, the player behind seemed to mark far more than the player in front.

1. Have an option to have the clock count down from whatever length the quarter is, like in AFL Live 2 (so a 10 minute clock, not a double speed 20 minute clock)
2. REMOVE FREE KICKS FOR IN THE BACK AND HIGH TACKLE. As its a game with one tackle button these are bullshit. Just don't pay them.
3. Allow us to actually stack the backline. In AFL 2006, you could order literally every player on your team to tag one player (and having 9 defenders (every forward, the wing-men and their original defender) on Pavilich, Brown and Tarrant saved me countless times). Allow us to either
a) An option on a player to have them go as a spare man into defense (the commentators would note this right as it happened to give you a chance to send a defender into your forward line to man them up)
b) The ability to place a player anywhere on the field manually (like in PES)

It's not 100% guaranteed but I'd like to think so. The creator is pretty easy to use so I wouldn't be to upset if it had to be made on a sport by sport basis.

Mind explaining how a 'stadium creator' works, and why no other sports game i think has ever implemented this?
One of the Madden games (09 perhaps) certainly had one, although it wasn't the most impressive as it was basically just choosing what each side and endzone of the stadium looked like from a couple of different options.
