But, I agree with you, it was bad tonight. I stopped watching before half time. Partly because I couldn't stand the pain and partly because the person I was watching it with was pi**ing me off.

BTW congratulations on your first wooden spoon. I have received three already. Two by email, and one "real" one.

I haven't seen Carlton play this badly in a long time, perhaps a decade? What utter rabble our team is. There is no confidence, skill, fitness, tackling and motivation in this side. Brittain couldn't motivate the players at all, he'll get the sack for sure. Friggin' hell, I watched this game at a friend's place (who is a Collingwood supporter, so is his parents) but lucky for me he was very humble, maybe a few jibes... but I had to resort to bagging Houlihan (whom I called Goldilocks) just to vent my fustration. and I watched the WHOLE game, never left my seat.

Livingston and Wiggins will have a great future. Bradley and McKernan were oour best players, but the rest were just inspid. Bloody shocking. Just shocking! I want this year to finish, and please give Brittain the sack.

i must admit, i didn't watch the whoel game... and i'm glad i didn't end up going... i've had a tiring wek and there was no way i would have survived that... it mad me feel almost physically sick taht game... i neevr thought footy could do that.. but it was horrible...i got my first wooden spoon a while ago, but i'm assuming i'll begetting plenty more on Monday... One of the taecher (collingwood supporter obviously) is planning on presenting a wooden spoon to both me, and my dad (who is also a teacher at my school) at the end of the season... i just wish that end was closer so we get out of this nightmare and start again!

Oh yeah- Goaless quarters

My sister was at the game last night- it was her first game this year as she's normally working. She rang me up half way through the 3rd quarter and said "I haven't seen them kick a goal yet" as she got to the ground 10 minutes in.

I had to laugh, out of all the games she could have seen us play our patented "Goaless Quarters" she had to see the best part of three of them!

Is anyone keeping count of the number of goaless quarters we've played this year- seems its every game?!

I don't mean to intrude on your thread I'm not a carlton supporter but i thought i could voice my disgust in the treatment you guys have received.I'm a an unhappy hawks supporter pretty much sure the finals campaign is now over for us and I wouldn't wish what I've been through today with froeo whipping our asses and the wooden spoon silliness that has been going on on anuone.I for one am not laughing at any of you carlton fans and I know to well the hawks could easily be there and were nearly there not long ago.So all I can say is yeah there are some truly evil people out there and even when the hawks went down to brisbane by 100 in rd 2 I felt physically ill too.I'm actually feeling like that now since an ex player has kicked 3 (croad ) to sink the boot in further and end our season.

Nice to see an opposition supporter that isn't on the 'sink the slipper' bandwagon. I appreciate it immensely.
