What does your EPL team lack

Hey guys just intrested to see what you think your team lacks to be a truly great team, i am a chelsea fan and i think we need a midfield dynamo, playmaker type...thinking someone like a in form Juan Veron or that little bloke from Vaclencia. What do you guys think your team lacks and who'd you like????

Well I go for the Gunners so it's not too hard to guess that I wouldn't mind a decent goalie.

Who would I want? Oliver Kahn or Jerzy Dudek (who should be a Gunner ) would fit in nicely at Highbury.

He was a major figure in our line-up for over a decade. His influence over the side alone would still be winning us matches.

Three things need to be introduced at Old Trafford. A new striker. A new centre back to replace old man Laurent. Some more cover on the left/right back position.

We'd win the title.

West Ham need a striker or four. Probably a midfielder with more experience than Cole and Carrick and about three or four top defenders.

At least we have a good goalkeeper, although being the heir apparent for the England job doesn't neccessarily make you a good goalkeeper.

We need a fullback (never really replaced Irwin) and a creative forward doing the Dieu/Sheringham role. Oh, and a heavy dose of the old Fergie Fury wouldn't go astray either.

And I'm not sure why the Hitman says we need a new centre back....we've got heaps....Blanc, Ferdinand, Brown, O'Shea, and Gary Neville has done well in that position - okay, sure that one is so old he can remember the last time City won a major trophy, and the other two have been spending too much time in the treatment room, but another centre back would still be low on our list of priorities.

Seriosuly though, there is a need for a more creative forward player - particularly if Fergie insists on playing Ruud on his lonesome all the time. Scholes has improved at playing in that deep position behind the lone striker, but I reckon Giggsy plays it much better (i.e. away v Fulham last season). But then we need someone on the left.. enter Kieran Richardson.

Apparently Kieran has a natural left foot! An instant selection for England in the near future

Well I support West Brom. We probably need a miracle, but failing that some creative midfielders perhaps. A decent strike partner for Jason Roberts would come in handy to.

We need a win.

We need a playmaker, like a Vieira. We lack really good creative midfielders. Our defence could do with some improving too.

We are short a class midfielder, one that can give our team width, width that we are still lacking this season. Our troubles have been on the left in the left back/left midfield roles. JAR has been used in both positions, but is better suited to a midfield role.

One other thing, it would be good to have a good centre back to back-up the Hyypia/Henchoz pairing. At the moment, we haven't done a bad job replacing Henchoz, but we'd be hard pressed to find someone to fill Sami's shoes.

As topdon said, we need a class midfielder, someone to work offensively and act as a playmaker. My choice: Zinedine Zidane.

Ah, imagine a Gerrard-Zidane midfield.....

I'm not actually that worried by the goalie situation, I still think Seaman does a good job (I'm in a minority there maybe), if your interested Rocco theres a bit of talk linking us with the Turkish & Fenerbache goalie Rucu whatsisname, he'd definitely be a good signing for us.In fact I think he'd be the ebst keeper in England.

With Wrsenal there's no one position where we're really weak so it's hard to pinpoint one player, for example if i supported MAn U I'd plump for a withdrawn creative striker in the Bergkamp mould & I'd probably go for Gudjonnson of the realistic targets.

We could do with another top quality centre half to go with Sol, perhaps someone big a bit more manouverability than him & whos good on the ball, the jury is still out on cygan who's struggling at present.

Also I'd like to see a central midfielder who complements Vieira, Gilberto's' ok but he's a bit too similar to play with Patrick IMO.I'd have liked Van Bommel, really we need someone who can score a few goals from the middle of the pitch,Edu might be the guy but you have to wonder whether he is good enough when the really big games come around.
