I have a good friend who played on the Irish team against them. I asked him to get me guernsey off one of the boys and he happened to swap his with Stokes! I was very lucky.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but I doubt the legitimacy of this one. I think it is a fake of which I've seen many on eBay over the years.

For memory, he bought it at the Fitzroy shop in Mordialloc. It's not a fake, the guernsey itself is a reproduction by sekem I think, but the logos are sewn on from 1996.

Had this for a little bit but just managed to photo-match it to a game from 1986/87 v Boston.
Loved this style when they wore it, no idea why they ever changed. Kinda reminds me of a certain West based footy team that should never have messed with a good thing.

Thanks mate. The matches are all based around the mesh hole patterns in the last few letters of Warriors, particularly the I and O. Also, there are some loose threads around the underarm that are spot on.

Was just wondering, does anyone collect other merchandise other than guernseys? Such as polos, training tops/signlets, war up tops etc.

Would be nice to see some of these.

I have a few Adelaide Polo's which are comfortable to wear at work and I also have track pants and a hoody. Other then my guernseys I just have some lithographs of the final siren of the 97 and 98 grand final
