It's basically 3rd Div MPNFL.

On that basis, he didn't set the world on fire.

If he got a bit of focus he could be worthwhile

Nope, apparently doesn't want to do the hard work required to actually make it.

first his year in 2003 he was named all australian and in the tac cup team of the year, he kick 17 goals including 9 at the carnival, he alson came 2nd with adam cooney and behind kepler bradley for the larke medal. he also got injured at the or after the carnival which hampered him.

2004 he wanted to play more in the middle to better his chances tfor getting drafted, but did miss a bit through injury. although he did play for vic metro.

2005 playing down at crib piont kicked 54 goals and finised 9th, next best at crib piont was duane annable with 34 and not much after that. made the interleague team

about crib piont- playing in the mpnfl nepean div its a so so league but has produced sum guns dermie mathews spida coleman....and so on
it also has had port player toby thurstans come from there
young sammy carpeter who was playing at the rays this year is the kid with 1 arm that made some noise early this year.

herrington at crib piont- he has won a few flags in the unders at crib piont which had a very good team lead by him, he kick a few 100s for them. also to note that crib piont has had a young list by reports.

So Justin Sweeney is the 17-year-old who kicked 72 goals in this league? Not a bad bloody effort there by the Saints recruiting staff. Afterall, they did something similar with Gwilt last year.

I remember watching that game when Herrington bagged nine goals and had a legion of fans behind the goals cheering and chanting. I rated him as a first round draft selection from the carnival, but obviously he got a bit lucky.

An AFL standard player should be kicking at least 100 goals at FF in a league like this. He isn't a FF, though, is he? If he was at an AFL club, he would be a similar player to Milne or Medhurst.

Not quite. I started a few threads about the Sween earlier this year and mentioned him in a few posts. I was told Hawthorn were looking into him, either way the kid is a freak but we'll see if he can cut it at AFL level without going through the traditional path.
