What on earth happened today???

I knew it was gonna be hard without Dicko, Crawf, Chick and Woods but I thought we had a chance with some of those younger guys having a chance.

Did the decision to kick into the wind make all that much difference, or did we just have a bad day??

Gee I hope we can come up with a win in the last round!!!

In my opinion, what killed us was that we played defensive footy in the first quater, our main task wasnt to kick goals, it was to stop them from kicking goals, and that surely backfired

I was at the game today, and haven't had a chance to watch the replay, but was fascinated to see Jars having a "chat" to the Hawk's cheersquad. Does anyone know what it was all about?

Back at the aftermatch party, Jars said the umpire told him to lay off or there could be a riot. Jars said "so what" and the ump said "yeah, but if they jump the fence, the first people they'll go for are us!!!!"

They were swearing at the monkey so he pointed to the scoreboard , then it looked like he was ready for a punch up with some fat bloke from the crazy johns C/S!!

Maybe Jars should have stopped arguing with the cheersquad and concentrated on getting a kick - Hay gave him a total bath.

Ahh, Jars was just a decoy, clearing the way for the other forwards and midfield players , also considering we were 6 goals up for most of the game, Jars was probably just cruising, no need to extend himself. Save up that good form for the MCG in a final Jars!!!!!!!

Yeah that whole Jarman thing was soo funny, i was sitting rite there and man he was coping it from the cheersquad~
But really he was just stupid to reply to it all, considering he was getting mauled by JOHNNY HAY the all australian backman i wouldn't have thought he would have too much to say!

And the cheersquad weren't that bad, they were actually really loud and the one adelaide supporter that came down to us at 3/4 time i think it was, hrmm what a tosser, he just made a fair ******** of himself!!! (im not in the cheersquad either, i was just sitting near em)

Now about the actual game i really wouldn't have thought the toss made that much of a difference because we just weren't playing well enough, adelaide probably wouldn't have kicked so many goals but yeah they were on top...

Congrats to Ossie, good game by him and great goal, at the after match function i was talking to him and he was very happy with his performance, one thing is for sure the boys will go out hard this week, parko didn't really look very impressed at all and promised they would play better this week yay

Footy Park doesn't look as good in real life as it does on t.v, but i tell ya the crowd is awesome when they all yell and stuff. The weather was poo too, can't believe it rained like that, haven't been to a game like that in ages with rain like that!

I personally think that the decision to go against the breeze cost us the game.

Instead of our guys having a 4 goal break it was the crows, and then when it started pissing down in the 2nd, we had no chance to use the breeze, and lo and behold, sunny again for the 3rd quarter.

I don't think we played that badly, but when you get a good jump on a team (Except Kangas on Essendon) it is always very hard for them to get back in the match.

Bad Decision I Think!!
