Just wondering what peoples number is when they play/played local sports?

Any specific reason why?

Ill start...

Footy is currently 49, my club gave me this number because my brother used to have this number. Not really thinking thats a great idea... Might go for 36 like below next year.

Basketball is 36 because i wanted a new number so why not Goodwins number?

Mixed Netball, my bib always says GA. Unless our C is missing. Does that count as a number?

When I played for IFJSC I was number 7 based on i was awinger.

When i played colts in this code i asked for that number.

When i raced a car i took the number 12, after a bloke in a black lotus that carved up the nth east corner of the city in november 1985.

16 was mine. won a footy premiership with this number

co-incidentally, our cricket association is looking at numbers on shirts this season (like they do in sheild cricket), so if that does happen, i'll be trying to get my hands on that number

17 for footy, given to me as kid because it was the last one left and has stuck ever since. Probably my fav out of the lot.

12 for basketball, just because I though it seemed like a nice number. Works well for me now as I go for the Magic (Dwight Howard is number 12)

72 for soccer, because that is the only top that would fit and the shirts were based on increasing size (I'm pretty tall if you don't know).

I was always 6 or 5. Hence cammo6556 sorta...

Bizarre. I was also 17 for footy and up until recently 12 for bball. Have now switched to 21. Heh :)

When I played football in year 3 and 4 (I decided Saturday morning kids club at the Gawler cinemas was a better option in year 5 and haven't played since  ), it was basically 1st in best dressed and we had a different number each week.

Now that my mates roped me into playing basketball (this could be interesting, half the side hasn't played before and a few have barely seen a game), I picked 11 as Trent Goodrem is one of my favourite players for Centrals.
