...to convince you we are a genuine chance this year? Who do you rate as our bogey sides and the ones to beat? I felt pretty good this week but it will take more than beating Port to make me feel we are a goer. Obviously being Grand Finalists you have to rate them but we have had the wood on them for a while.

The two for me are Collingwood and Adelaide. Collingwood are obvious really, they have given it to us for the past two years and dominated in the final last year. They were not really rated last year and surprised many and look even better this year. I just want to beat them and then I'll begin to hope.

Adelaide are our bogey side, home and away they are the team that I fear the most. They just seem to have the wood on us. If we knock them off well this year I'll be a very happy man, reckon it will be a great sign.

Just interested in you thoughts.

If we go 3 from 5 at the start of the year, I'll be very happy about our chances.

The teams to watch would be Geelong and Collingwood. We weren't within cooee of them last year. I believe we are a much improved side this year. But how we fair against them will tell a story for me.

For me, I will start believing if I see football of last week's intensity and skill this week and next, with at least one win. I want to see them do it at night. I'm not even so bothered with the result tonight, if they happen to get beaten by a good team but still play well. Losing next week at home to a currently indifferent West Coast would be a blow.

If we play like the way we did against Port every week in and out, we'll be winning pretty. And like as many of you guys said, against Collingwood, Geelong, Adelaide and for me the Roos. We have a tough start to the season and if we win more than we lose, I'd be more than happy to think we're in the mix. And for winning the Premmie? We'd just have to wait and see... who here thought we would still win a GF before we took on Collingwood in Round 13 back in 2005?
