Jarryd Lyons, has this guy got a clause in his contract where he isn't allows to play?
Dominates every week in the SANFL, but never gets a game ahead of Martin, wright, Mackay, laird, etc.
He is a first class clearance player, but comes in and is played as a forward.
When he comes in, he is given the vest, lights it up for a quarter, and given a full game the following week if he is lucky. If he doesn't get best on ground, he is shown the door instantly
Widely know that he almost went to melbourne, but convinced by the club of more opportunities this year. Thompson is now being played injured, whilst a perfect replacement is in the reserves.
The kid must be pulling his hair out watching Rory laird play as a midfielder, when he is a far superior midfielder.
Went to the SANFL game on the weekend, and he had his own ball. Missed the first ten minutes because my sunday work shift went overtime, but the for the game time I did see, he was the best player on the ground by the length of footy park
So what will be the excuse this week if he isn't picked? The team is in too much good form? Thompson is playing too well? All the mids are in form despite being outplayed against the eagles?
Just play Lyons, he will walk at the end of the season if we don't!
