We can't keep all three in the test team. It would be ludicrous to do so. Punter said in one of the media reports that he, Huss and Katich are needed for their experience to mentor the youngsters. But if no-one retires or gets dropped then where are the youngsters to mentor? Seven of the top 6 will consist of very experienced players What do you do, have 6 players mentoring the living daylights out of Usman Khawaja or Steve Smith?

We'll just end up with the same stupid scenario of having three go at once, through form or injuries.

I think Huss or Punter should go from the test team. Leave Kat in there and tell him he's bowling more whether he wants to or not.

You sometimes feel that any random from the forum could do a better job than the current selectors...then you read a post by The Governor...

the thing is gov's posts are pretty good but then he goes and picks numerous left field guys for his team.

there's usually reason a guy is a left field selection. and it rarely pays dividens to have multiple of them in the same team.
