What would you do with this?

Okay, here is my team, I have 10k in the bank and 6 trades left.

Johncock, Shaw, Bradshaw, Gilbee, Kennelly, Cornes, Ibbo (Pfieffer, Proud)

Ablett, Dal Santo, Cornes, Corey, Priddis, Palmer (Cotchin, Ebert)

Cox, Simmonds (Kreuzer, Hampson)

Pavlich, Franklin, JB, Riewoldt, Chapman, Murphy, Deledio (Neagle, Valenti)

Obviously my backline is the weakest point. So if i trade Palmer to Ward, then I could do Pfieffer to any defender (Bock? Drummond?). The only issue I have with that id Pfieffer will go up in his next two games, or at least his next one. But when will that be? Is is best to wait, even though Palmer is going to drop this week? I could do this trade with Ibbo insted, but that wont help my non-existant bench.

Alternatively, I could leave my backline, and upgrade Palmer and Ebert to Cooney and Ward (if picked this week).

What do you suggest? Is there something else you think i could do? Thanks.

thats a pretty solid backline, theyre just out of form, well a few are... Depending on how many trades u got, and how ur sitting in ur league, id hold onto that team... Maybe wait til Cooney has an off week or two (if at all)...

I agree, you only have Ibo and the rest are guns.

Im looking more to finish as higher ranking as possible. The midfield in the OP obvously has Palmer in it as well since i suggested trading him out. Just forgot about him.

The issue i have with the team is that I got two bench players not playing, and Ibbo who could get rested later in the year. I would like at least one of my bench players consistantly playing.

Without having looked at the prices, I'd be inclined to sell Ebert for Ward and upgrade Palmer, and then upgrade Ibbotson whenever the chance next presents itself.
