Whats the best Capture card?

Hi all,

I am wondering what the best capture card is?
I would like to get one for capturing great games played against mates and online, but one where I don't have to play it off the computer monitor while its recording.

Any help will be great .

you could just use fraps or hypercam. capture cards are handy going from xbox>pc...unless thats what you want?
