What's with Se7en's cheap seat camera angle?

Looks like a throwback to tennis coverage from the 70s and 80s with the predominant camera set in the cheap seats.

The ultra high camera position looks bloody terrible.

Wonder if this is because of the "revolutionary" new Brisbane tennis centre, or if Se7en are going crappy retro with their coverage?

Yeah, it's awful, can't believe anybody in the right mind thought hat camera angle would be a good idea. Surely you can set the camera a level lower.

Its not great but they have increased their coverage showing the whole tournament so that's a good thing. it must have something to do with the new tennis centre as yo uwouldn't think Channel 7 would go for that by choice.

Yeh the gantry must be high up, I doubt it's channel 7's fault.

I've seen news reports of matches that haven't been shown on tv such as sunday's matches and these night matches and the camera is at a much normal angle. Why can't they do this for their coverage?

they brought their afl cameras to the tennis and its typical of them. they shotty job at covering sports on all levels. pathetic channel 7
