Really isn't having the kind of impact I'd expect from him this season.

Is he unfit? Still carrying a niggle?

He's hardly been poor but I really expected that he'd be one of our top 4-5 players this year. He seems to go through entire quarters of football almost unnoticed.

Sometimes it's just a mental thing, confidence issues and going through an injury then coming back just to get injured again.

Does a number on players and they usually bounce back within time.

Either that or you're correct his injury is still there but puts him at 80-90%?

I say it's confidence, it's hard to keep your confidence in this side, when they miss easy shots on goals and struggle to convert your chances in front of goals.

Eh? He's been good this year. Only watching the replay of yesterday's game now, but statistically speaking (from memory) he had 21 touches at 90% and 7 clearances.

He's never been a huge possession winner, but like Goodes, he plays direct, he wins a lot of contested ball, and he makes every possession count.

Longmire's stuffing around with him. Has him playing more in a defensive role this season as a tagger when he is quite clearly our best attacking midfielder (besides goodes). Has even been spending a bit of time up forward the last few weeks (maybe just resting him) but it seems like it's a bit more than resting.
