Just wondering if anyone else has seen the Tab stuff up in relation to a couple of basketball games.... I did a bet for the Argentina league on sunday and got on while the game was in the 2nd term and the TAB had the game listed as not started.. so i backed the unders with the projections looking really low. I thought they may have not payed out but they did...Another game later that day in the Japanese league was
a final total of 140 but they payed out the overs of 168... Wondering if anyone else has seen mistakes like this before.

probably wouldn't make a habit of betting games that have the wrong start time, good way to have your account closed. Had the wrong result paid a few times, haven't withdrawn it though and it has always been corrected. Same goes.

TAB used to always pay on any errors. If they made a typo with the fixed odds and a trader put up a horse that was supposed to be $5 at $50 by mistake they would honour the bets placed until they realised and amended it. Since they've followed the corporate model with free bets, special prices and no doubt account profiling they may no longer do so. Corporates never have.

Mate payed for a service that would send text alerts when the tab had messed up a line or something, normally a small market like wafl football. Anyway you had to rush to an agency to put the bet in person with cash too make sure it wasnt cancelled when using an account

they can still only refund the bet if u do that, happened to me once, but a bet on a tennis game and then when i went to collect i only collected the amount i put on

Gosh Argentinian basketball and I thought I was out there with my betting.

I once got on with Sportingbet for first half unders on a College Football bet, when they incorrectly posted total game score as first half score.

It got up. Was able to put the max internet bet (back then was 4 figures) on which was good and was paid the dividend.

I'd imagine the bets would need to be small so as not to raise suspicion due to low liquidity.

William Hill still had live betting markets open on a Port Adelaide game last year after quarter time for the 'last score of the 1st quarter market' so I loaded up on that. Got me banned from live betting and promotions.

meh, bound to be banned there anyway.

Two years ago the TAB left a Tennis market up after the first set had been completed.

I ended up putting money on the bloke who had already lost the first set to win the first set. They took my money, but because I bet on the losing outcome after it was decided, I got an allowance and star treatment.

I called Crownbet to alert them of the error, because I noticed they also had it up. I called them off a private number and didn't tell them who I was, but the next day I saw I had a free $50 bet in my account from customer service. They obviously know my voice too well. I use them a lot for live betting.

Have got on many TAB errors, especially over a short period of time a couple of year ago. Me and my friends call them 'glitches'.

But yeah, they had two college football games starting at 7:30am when they had 4am kick-offs so we rushed down to Crown to load up on whatever the best market was just before the match finished.

Also, during a Masters 1000 event in Montreal in 2014, Kyrgios had just beaten Giraldo in straight sets and the machines had frozen about 30 minutes prior to the completion of the match. Let's just say that was a very nice morning. I think we pocketed close to $2000 in profits. Would have been a lot more too if the systems didn't go down for maintenance at 5:30am.

I don't monitor it much any more as I pretty much bet exclusively through bet365, but when I used to just bet with TAB, it was always something to be aware of.

TAB will often miss a decimal point or something of the sort very briefly. For instance, $4.2 becomes $42. This will usually trigger the copy and paste dimwits at William Hill Group and Classicbet to then offer $7-8 themselves, especially if it's in harness or greyhound racing.

Madbookie had Kansas @ 301 to win the NCAA basketball tournament the other day when they should have been the favourites at around 5-6. Clowns.

How much did you get on? Please tell me you got on?
