Did you know that Geelong is the only Victorian club not to have lost by more than 50pts in any game of this season?
We are in the company of Port, Crows, WC and Sydney.

We might drop the bundle for a quarter or two.. but this shows that we don't drop it for the whole game.

You raise a good point Syntaxx, and one Jim Boy has raised before on another thread when he said Geelong were a better team this year as opposed to last year. We might not have the wins on the board, but we've been competitive in all our matches which is a fair indication that we're at least heading down the right track, all be it slowly.

When you look at the way in which Geelong have played against the power-brokers of the AFL, losing close games to Brisbane, West Coast, Fremantle and Adelaide, the Cats could very easily be at least 7-7 right now instead of 4-10.

If that's the case, we'd still be just outside the eight right now... North Melbourne are on 30 points right now, and 28 would put us at ninth, top whack.

But still, the team showing an inconsistency to play four quarters of footy until recently, combined with a poor start to the season over the first month or so, the current record is what we're deserving at the moment.

But yes, absolutely... the potential for success is definitely there.

That's an interesting stat. This season still has been very disappointing (4/10 approx), and i'm hoping that next year we can take another step forward and win the games we should have won this year.
