Same could be said...
I've never seen him play well in the half a dozen games of his this year. Some have said that he and Thomas won the first final against the Bullants, but I have to listen to second hand stories for confirmation of that.
He goes about it in an old fashioned way; blinkers on, hard as all hell at it, which I like, but I have yet to see him exhibit some agility and footy smarts.
His kicking on occassions can be average to above average, but equally (at least) he duffs the kicks worse than Mark McGough ever did. I mean he really shanks them!
At best we may develop an Archer-esque half back, who gets his kicking up to a passable level and uses his zero fear approach to literally scare opponents. At worst Hine has foolishly overlooked the most important attribute in football, kicking, and drafted a dud. I'm hoping for the former!

The reports we kept getting were quite promising, but the whole world seems to have watched him have a quiet one in the VFL Prelimnary Final, and he has been damned ever since.
We desperately need an inside midfielder to take over from Licca, O'Bree, Burns etc, so I am hoping he can take the next step.
Funnily enough, he was the only Collingwood 2005 draftee who was taken around where he was expected to be taken; the rest were taken far earlier than ALL phantom drafts. I hope the pundits were right about him.
