Where is Edwards at.

Given that Jake Edwards does not appear to have been injured and was named in the squad for the Geelong Nab game but was not in the starting 26, where do we think he is at.

He only debuted last year (and is still very young and KP players often take a while to mature) but if fit and considering that we need to develop alternative avenues to goal, you would have thought he would have got a run in this Nab game. Having said that we were already tall heavy last night with Jacobs, Hampson, Kreuzer, Cloke and Fish in the for the game and perhaps it was a balance issue that kept him out.

To be honest I don't see him as part of the 22. Him and Hartlett are the ones who will probably get the chop end of season. Hammer showed some good signs last night for us, and I wouldn't be surprised that Ratts wants to try and use him at CHF, with maybe Cloke. Lachie Hill showed some good signs as well.

If he plays next week in WA (along with Hartlett) they both need an amzing performance to see any decent game time this year....last chance I reckon but disappointed he didn't play last night

Both he and Hartlett are in a fair bit of strife, you would think. Would need to see significant improvement (or in Hartlett's case, an extended run without injury) if they're to get any game this season. It's not a development season and we won't be giving out token games with our depth where it is.

If we could get Hartlett and Edwards up and running it would be the icing on the cake for the team..but like others i worry about their long term future unless they start to show something early this year.
