Pathetic last quarter guys!

What happened, did they run out of puff?

What do you guys reckon of the new jumper?

Things can still get worse from here on in. If you're going to only play 3 quarters, make sure you have an unassailable lead at 3/4 quarter time, instead of 4 points. Bah, humbug...

Oh, as for the jumpers, didn't mind them at all. Good to have a change every now and them (AIYYEE!! BLASPHEMY!!!). Ah well, next week the Demons at Kardinia, suppose that'll be another record for the Demons to knock off.

Great game for 3 quarters. High intensity. Good commitment.
Im not sure whether or not the Cats just ran out of puff in the last quarter or whether we just lifted strongly or whether it was a combination of both. Whatever it was, the Cats just rolled over. At 3 quarter time, I had a bad feeling. Felt that Geelong were just playing a bit better. But then, they just capitulated.

The main reason Geelong lost today is because we didn't have enough tall players to match up with our Collingwood opponents and they wore us down in the last term and ran over the top of us.

I was really pleased with our commitment and effort for the first three quarters. Geelong showed that they are quite capable of mixing it with the best teams in the competition, now we just need to develop consistency and do it for four quarters, then do it week after week.

1) They ran out of puff, talent, commitment and desire.

2) The jumper goes all right, still prefer the traditional one though.

I think it's time to give some young talls a game. We couldn't do any worse with guys like Matty McCarthy and Henry Playfair.

I'd even be tempted to give Tom Lonergan a run, despite the fact that he isn't ready.

That's why I couldnt understand the logic in dropping McCarthy after just one week. If I was Mark Thompson, I'd have left him in the team for a set period of time and give him every opportunity to develop into the key forward we desperately need.

Cameron Mooney is honest and Kent Kingsley is good as your 3rd option, but we need another key position forward to take the pressure off those two, otherwise we're never going to be potent enough to kick winning scores.

I'd like to see Henry have a game.Dunno if Donnie would be ready yet.

Haven't the cats got anyone who can give king a cop out in the ruck?

Street and Chambers are options. Both have senior experience. The other option is Playfair [drafted last year],who can also play at CHB or CHF .He's the one they should try.

We need to play 2 ruckman in today's football, King can't be expected to go against 2 and 3 players all the time.... no wonder why we are struggling towards the end of games to get any drive around the packs!!

Quite obviously, no. :D

The two backups are hacks, we're just biding our time til Mark Blake arrives.
