where to stay?

Hey guys, Im looking for a bit of info on accomodation...

I am coming down from Cairns in 3 weeks and am going to 3 games of footy, 2 at Etihad and 1 at MCG, I was hoping you guys might know a good place to stay somewhere between the 2 that is reasonably priced?

any help would be much appreciated

.....for cheap deals mate. The Melbourne CBD is between the two stadiums but any accomodation there, or in Southbank, Docklands, West Melbourne or East Melbourne's within walking distance. Trams make it easy to get around and if you're willing to catch them you could also stay in South Melbourne, North Melbourne, St Kilda, Fitzroy or Richmond.

Anyhow, check the sites for deals and accomodation ratings etc. You'll be fine riddles

It sure is mate, i been here for 6 years, the first 21 years i lived in vctoria and i can honestly say that after being in Cairns i could never go back...the only drawcard that vic has for me is the Football.
