Where to watch Hawthorn game in Canberra?

On TV. It's one of those rarities - a Crows game which is actually being broadcast on FTA TV (albeit on a 2hr delay - starting 9:30pm local time).

We went almost 3 months without a single game shown on FTA, now we have 3 in a row (Geelong, Collingwood & Hawthorn).

Failing that, you could try the Ainslie Footy club. They'd have it live (foxtel) on the big screen. You just have to put up with the volume being turned down and PA announcements constantly cutting the commentary off completely. Given that Bruce McAvaney will be commentating, that's probably a good thing.

You guys have a better deal there then we do here in Sydney. Game will start on 7 at 11:30pm.

Something to thank Prime for, I guess.

We still have to put up with shitty Swans games rammed down our throats every week, whether we want to see them or not. It reached new lows a couple of weeks back - the Melbourne vs Swans game was played at Manuka, yet the game was live on both Foxtel & Ch7. Given that the weather was exceedingly ordinary (max of 9 degrees, with scattered showers during the match), I'm surprised they got the 7,000 hardy souls that they did.

I presume then, Vader, you've had the same set of FTA Adelaide games as we have in Melbourne - St Kilda (H), Geelong (H), St Kilda (H), Geelong (A), Collingwood (H) - meaning the Crows are yet to win a game that's been on FTA outside Adelaide?

Not a good omen for Friday. Is it too late to campaign for it to be moved to Foxte;?

That looks like a familiar selection.

Crows games have mostly been on Foxtel in QLD (as free-to-air sucks up here!). This game (every Friday night), for example, will appear on Fox 518 in QLD, NSW and normally ACT because channel 7 will never show it live.
The ACT get a slightly better deal than Sydney and northern NSW. Prime show the Friday night games at 9:30pm, usually on a 2-hour delay. In Sydney the game doesn't start on 7 until 11:30pm, this week it's behind the 450th repeat of Four Weddings and a Funeral. I'm assuming Brisbane fans are insulted in the same way.

Thankfully, Foxtel have the rights to show Friday night games "live", ahead of the FTA broadcast. That said, I don't have foxtel and wouldn't bother going to the Ainslie Footy Club to watch Friday night footy if the Crows weren't playing.
