Where was Corey?

Joel Corey, an onballer, who I think is our leading possession winner, didn't seem to be played in the midfield or as a follower until the 3rd quarter... WTF?? On a day when there was no Rooke, and both Ablett and Ling were out by the end of the first !!!! Anyone know what the thinking was there? Is that just unbelievable to others as well as me?

Bomber thompson has no clue. Helet Rawlings suck Corey to effectivly play as a defender. How easy is that. We lost our best midfielder to a tactic either bimber was happy to let go, or bomber didnt care. Either way. Its a disgrace

Disgrace is right. He just seemed SO missing! We really needed his clearances today, or even simply his usual number of posessions.

Rawlings got forward early and kicked a couple.That was basically what happened.But Thompson probably should have reacted a bit quicker and altered the match up.How, I don't know.But for the majority of the first half Corey was playing as a backman.It didn't help once Ling didn't become available.Ablett from our perspective wasn't such a big deal but when Ling went off, that was when he should have attempted to alter the midfield set up thus bringing Corey further up the ground.

When I was sitting just to the side of the Roos goals and had a fantastic view of Corey for most of the quarter, I knew it was going to be a long day.

It didn't help that the coach put him in the back pocket for 3 quarters.
The moves Bomber makes at times are really annoying and somewhat confusing. We always see some of our best taggers/onballers play at the full back line. I remember Ling being shoved down there on numerous occasions.

Corey the back pocket doesn't work. They had Wojak on the ball at times.
