CyberKev you must remember last years draft was a better one than this years. Meyer was in a lot of phantom drafts a top ten pick. This years draft the only 2 midfielders I reckon would be considered better than Meyer are Murphy and Ellis. Meyer would probley be considered on par with Hurn, Varcoe and Jones. So it would depend if the clubs with the earlier picks wanted midfielders. 3-9

Hypothetically speaking, if Collingwood lose tomorrow and we get picks 3 and 6, if we were to trade either of picks 3 or 6 for Meyer, I'd personally tear the Club a new arse!!

Not because I like anal sex (which is BTW only a half-truth), but because I don't think Meyer is or will be a superstar. A very good outside player with pace and good feet, but not a superstar.

You can bang on all day about this draft being weaker and whatnot, but when you have top draft picks, you have to get the best available (ie. most likely to become a superstar).

Now I know nothing about this year's crop and I've only seen Meyer a handful of times, so maybe I'm speaking out of turn, but from what I've seen of him and from the descriptions I have read, I'd reckon you'd be better off having a dip in this year's pool if you've got high picks.

We might only have pick 5, at which point there isn't a chance in hell I'd trade it for Meyer. I'm sorry if that's not the answer Tiger fans were obviously itching for.
