Lot of talk pre-season about Brereton playing enough games to qualify for finals this year. To the best of my knowlege he has only played the one game when the draw was altered to accomadate the great man. Has there been a change to his availability or is he is too old to get a game?

Will be playing a few more games for the Tigers for the remainder of the season. Will possibly be chosen for finals even!!! Has performed pretty well and been a great asset both on and off the field for the Tigers. Has certainly drawn a few more through the gate and provided a heap of good publicity for the league too.

Managed to catch this game today although it turned into a bit of a fizzer. Dermie arrived at the ground about 1/2 way through the 1st qtr and didnt come on till after 1/2 time. Still lead well and looked ok but there arent to many other tall options in the Woori forward line so he was up aginst it a bit. Good news for them is he now is qualified to play finals, they're gonna need him. Moorcroft didnt play for the cats, back injury I'm led to believe was the problem. Haynes had an absolute field day and notched up his 100th goal for the year. Incredible acheivement for someone playing mainly on-ball. If silvan are to get beat in the finals the opposition would have to do a better negating role on a couple of silvans midfielders to stand any chance, they have a lot of blokes running forward of the ball. That said this was a nothing game for each team so what each club can take out of it is unknown.

Im told he arrived in a helicoptor to the final against Silvan last week. Landed in Gembrook and was rushed to the ground by car. Luckily Healesville footy ground has its own chopper pad so he can make it straight there for the Grand Final. With the Coodabeen Champions broadcasting from the ground during the day this could be a circus.
