Does anyone miss him? Seems that gone are the days when nippy used to grace these boards with pro phoenix threads and posts. maybe the loss to the spurs/horry was too much?

for mine, i miss his banter. the question also must be posed, now that his team has shaq will he be back. and finally, which team will be in his sights?

Hopefully he comes back. Hes good value.

Had many an argument with him over the Suns/Spurs clashes.

The days haven't left. Neither has the man. Still a regular reader.

As the weather softens and the playoffs come nearer my juice for the Lakers and Spurs can again be tasted.

maybe the loss to the spurs/horry was too much?

It was him was it.

I didn't even read the match report.

I noticed we were playing Spurs, checked the score in the first, scanned both teams for players missing (no Ginobli), saw we were at home, early lead, already beaten them shorthanded (that's them) this season, so why not again? Early lead. Leading all game. Looked like a nice, lazy win against a slightly injury depleted team.

Oh no!

Drove home from work (about a 45 minute ride) flicked on the PC, checked the score, oh great! a loss to the Spurs! how unbelievably unpredictable.

I can gurantee you that there was no way I'd be opening up that match report/summary. Absolutely no way.

for mine, i miss his banter.

ohhh I'm all warm inside. :thumbsu:
right back at ya lake peter.

the question also must be posed, now that his team has shaq will he be back.

Hilarious the amount of criticism such a simple (the way I see it) trade has received.

Shaq is apparently having career lows and finished despite averaging about the same numbers as Marion with obviously more potential to improve and one obvious difference. He's a non-choking winner.
Not to mention that Marcus Banks is gone. Only a positive.
And then there's Marion's 3-point shooting. Doesn't make any difference whether he's open or not. Unreliable, unpredictable. Yet he still has to get his.

Hill/Diaw are able replacements. Hill's a more reliable stroker (I've voyuer'd him) and capable offensive player than Marion anyway.

A low-risk trade imo. What does Marion offer at playoff time?

Unrealiable shooter who still has to get his. Playing for a team heavily reliant on its shooters. Not the best recipe.

The problem for the Suns this season come the end of the season will be injuries. But for once, it won't be the fault of luck. Take on Shaq and Grant Hill and whinging about injuries would be kind of ironic.

and finally, which team will be in his sights?

San Antonio
Lakers
Boston

Pretty much the same three for everyone who doesn't support one of them.

LOL no point in bagging Boston NIP/TUCK, since the Celtics won't be playing ur mob in the finals, out of Lakers/Mavs or Spurs...

I think the Arizona sun has finally melted ur brain, and I look foward to the Suns going out in the first round of the playoffs :)
