Simple poll all you have to do is pick the teams that you expect Richmond to beat in 2008.

I fully expect us to beat Carlton, Melbourne and the Bulldogs. Of the others I think we can beat Brisbane, Collingwood, Essendon & Fremantle(in Melb), however in each of these games we would have to play at or near our best footy to do so.

Carlton, Melbourne, Essendon Defanite (at Least Once)
Brissy, Roos, Should
Coll, Freo, Hawks Maybe

We can beat every team except, Geelong, West Coast, St.Kilda, Port Adelaide. If we loose to anyone else it is detrimental to our development as a club and is inexcusable depending on where we play them, but then again should we make a push for the 8, bow out straight away, knowing that our list has no depth and we cannot win a flag this year. As soon as our good experienced players (i.e. Richo, Brown, Symmonds, Bowden etc.) retire and/or get older + shitter in the coming years we will go down due to having shitty kpp's. We need to somehow get more youngsters and depth in our list before making a charge and that will involve tanking. I'm sorry guys but thats the harsh reality of it, unless you want more years of no flags. We should make ourselfs look shit and then win the last couple of games to disguise our tanking like we did last year to get some kp depth.

We can beat any team, but I doubt we would beat Geelong at all and Port at aami. The next toughest are Hawks and Saints. We showed we can get close to West Coast, Fremantle, Brisbane and Adelaide interstate. We should give ourselves a chance of winning in 90% of games this year and should expect to win at least 8 games

I know we can beat any team(yes even Geelong), but the question asked is 'Which teams do you expect to beat?' by that I mean in the week before the game you are more than confident of walking away with the 4 points rather than being hopeful of pulling an upset.

Carlton, Melbourne, Freo in Melbourne, Doggies, Collingwood, Essendon, Sydney.

So beat them once each and there's 7 wins.

Beat Carlton twice and Terry survives.

You'll find that at the Carlton board

Nice work MT. :thumbsu:

I didn't vote for the Pies but we seem to perform well against them...

Well RT, I would say that we are in a development phase, ( we have been since 82), and will hopefully see a vast improvement this season. Lets see if this occurs and in your own spiel judge 1 week before the game. If we can`t be optimistic prior to RI we are in a bad way.
PS: I think we did well in the recruits we got for this season.
I have been very frustrated at how long our rebuild has taken compared to many of the other clubs.

Lets Go
Eat em Alive Tigers

Agree RT - there's 7 wins already.

However as you said, we will need to be playing our best footy, which we should be doing at every match anyway!

Go Tiges! :)

Every single damn team.

We need a winning culture. We should go out there expecting to win every ****ing game. No less.

I expect us to beat the Roos because it is at the G. How many times have we played them at the G this century? About 3 times? lol. We belted them in 2006 at the G and they had Thompson at full forward :thumbsu:

Yeah, we should. But if you actually expect us to beat the likes of Geelong then you are in a for a very long season. Remember last years 150 point demolition? I ****in do. I would be delighted if we made the 8, but I'm not getting my hopes up at all this year. Too many years of bitter dissappiontment.
