IT'S the Great Right Brain vs Left Brain Test ... do you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?
If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa.
Most of us would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.

I was surprised to see that for me most of the time she spins clockwise.

Try and concentrate on the grey foot that comes in and out of frame at the bottom of the image.

By staring at this grey foot you can get the image to seemingly change to an anti clockwise direction when the foot is at it most left point of rotation and then clockwise again when at the far right side of the image. Eg swinging backwards and forwards in the 180 degrees closest to you.

(it does take a lot of concentration.. or see her left leg pointing spins anti-clockwise - right leg spins her clockwise)

Nah, try focussing on the left breast first, and then the right breast later...

Actually you can do it without concerntrating on the picture too.

I found that if I closed my eyes and started thinking of something emotional, like how gorgeous my baby daughter was this morning etc, then open my eyes and look at the picture, she is spinning clockwise.

Then close my eyes again, and start mentally making lists of what I need to do at work today, who i have to call, how many letters need typing etc, then open my eyes, and she was spinning anti-clockwise!

DC, are you referring to Jeffs comments in that BBC Coupling episode “The Girl with two Breasts” and linking to the left and right side of the brain of a breast?

Wow, that worked the first time I tried it. Now it's back to spinning clockwise all the time again...
