86-94: Ayrton Senna

94-99: Damon Hill

02-??: Mark Webber

Was glad to see Mark Webber finally get into F1 because I lost a fair bit of interest after Damon Hill retired because I had been such a fanatical supporter of his. I think Mark has been doing really well this season and has just been let down by reliability problems and bad luck. Last season at Minardi showed how good a driver he is because he brought that car home many times and from what I remember only 1 of his DNF's (Silverstone) was due to his mistake. If the Jag can find some reliabilty and Mark a bit of luck I think he can score podiums this season, the car has the speed and it seems to handle well for Mark, so he can do it.

Two things I have always hated in F1 though are Ferrari & Michael Schumacher. I will never forgive that cheat for what he did at Adelaide in 94, he cost Hill the title with that disgraceful move. He should've been stripped of the title. He showed his true colours again at Jerez in 97 (the Villeneuve incident where he pulled the same move as he did on Hill but it didn't work) and Buenos Aires in 98 where he took Coulthard out of the race by blatantly taking him out while trying to overtake. Those are just 2 examples of several where his driving has been less than fair. People go on about what a great driver he is but at the end of the day his record will always be sullied by the fact that he's a cheat!

I used to follow a team, mainly Williams from when Alan Jones was racing for them, and before/since Alan retired, Lotus. I was a big fan of Andretti Sr, and Ronnie Petersen, until his tragic death (1979?).

Nowadays, I like Webber, of course, but have a soft spot for any Pom driver, even though, srictly speaking Coulthard is a Scot. So, to sum up,

1. Webber (BBQ)
2. Coulthard (Jimmy)
3. Villeneuve ('cause I loved the way his dad drove).

Agree entirely re your thoughts on Schuey. Dog acts, 'though a masterful driver. Yep, should have been stripped of the title.

I support my Renault boys!!! (Eagles colours!!! Lol!)
But I'm a Zonta fan even though he's only a tester for Toyota. Can't stand Schumacher though!
Webber's great though! :D

Started as a Mika Salo fan at Sauber, then stuck with Sauber and Kimi, always with a soft spot for Hakkinen, so when Kimi joined McLaren, it was a match made in heaven

Tend to follow drivers more than team, soft spot for Heidfeld and Sauber
