Who will be our CHF for 2008?

Even though Austin was drafted to fill our massive void for FB/ CHB, has the Hight, Body, Smarts and boot to play at CHF, would need to bulk up alot! A LOT!!!
He would need to do this regardless of the position he plays.

Others have probably seen more of him as a junior and at the Ants, but from what I saw I think he coulod do it.

He's better down back and doesn't read the play well enough to play that position. Also, if one of Waite or Setanta get to play foward you would much rather Waite.

I think Hartlett should be given and opportunitty to play CHF for the first couple of games and if that doesn't work out you can move Waite there from CHB.

but if he's up forward the play comes to him..

Get Dean Putt with #36.

Possibly a little early to be getting Putty at #36, and if we wait 9 more selections, I reckon he'd still be there at #46.

On the topic, Waite should be givent the gig. Still have my doubts over Hartlett, as his body hasn't really allowed him to get some more games into him. Definitely a make or break year for Harts.

I think Setanata struggles to read the ball at CHF ATM. This could improve.
I think he reads it quite well at CHB, and think it is where he is most suited. He has an attacking mindset and I think he can still attack from HB and prefer him there than deep in defence.

His two next best games for the year he played as a forward.

Cloke needs to be set the task of playing CHF like Earl Spalding used to play it.

Bash and crash the packs and let the smaller quicker players run off him.

Could do. Works hard.

Who would of thought I would say that about a Cloke.

Would still like to see Harts there, maybe on a flank or off the bench for while.

I think Waite or Setanta. Setanta's shooting for goal last year was as good as anyones and I could see him nabbing 40-50 goals to be honest

Love to see Hartlett. Waite should play CHB he showed us how good he is playing back wen he killed Riewoldt and he has a bit of mungrel which we need down back. Also with Hartlett as big option he drag a big defender to him every week which will put pressure off fev and alow Fisher to play a role similar to Riewolt useing his good hands to get the ball across our attacive side of the wing and kick it long to fev

Isn't Putt more of a Ruckmen/third tall rather than a CHF? Maybe we should draft Cotchin and pick up DP. ;)

We have one of the best FUF in the league.

Our ONB division will have improved signifignatly in its ability to put the ball on Fev's chest.

We should be aming to deliver the pill down Fevs throat from centre breaks, thus we should be keeping that centre corridor clear of big stiffs and leaving it open for Fev to lead into.
