Who's better?? Part 1

Is Nathan Bracken better than Mathew Inness. Or is David Hookes right, should the Victorian get a go playing for Australia??

Bracken did bowl well last night, but let himself down at the end. But in saying that, I'm not a big fan of him, and I've got big raps on Inness.

An unorthodox action which I'm sure is one of the things holding him back, but the fact that he is consistently getting wickets must mean something.

You need to be more specific.

Bracken is a better One-Day bowler. Innes is a better first-class bowler.
Bracken is a slightly better fieldsman and batsman. Innes is an opening bowler, Bracken is not.
The only similar thing about them is that both are left-arm pacemen.

I give my vote to Inness, even though Bracken did bowl quite well the other night. Inness for mine seems to be more accustomed to the longer version of the game though.

Was about to say the same thing. Innes for the longer version, Bracken for the shorter version for mine.

I do wonder what the ACB think of Inness because he seems to never get a look in despite putting it on the board.

I would say that Inness is better at the longer version, and Bracks is better at the OD version. I do think that Bracken is a better bat than Inness.

It's simple...if Inness is the better first class bowler, he's the better bowler.
