Whow regrets dream teams decisions already?

Well considering I spent last 3 weeks telling everyone I wasn't going to get Raines, and then finished up adding him this morning........... I regret that.

I also picked Shane Tuck as a smokey premium based on his huge 2008 finish.... that could still pay off.

I didn't have Raines for most of pre season, but got him in a couple of days ago.

I don't regret it but, 65+ average is all I wanted, a score of 68 is good enough, hopefully doesn't miss too many matches, makes me some $, will then be a good cash cow.

I regret nothing. I took Kade Simpson as a good value option and started Robinson on the ground.

I'm happy, even if Raines is out I can trade him for something around the 250k mark with the little bit of cash I have in the kitty.

I regret not starting Mitch Robinson on the ground. Bloody put him as an emergency
I'm the same  Hopefully Daniel Rich (who I have in the 22 instead) pulls out a similarly exciting debut.

I didn't like the look of him having to get helped off the ground by the trainers. Hopefully he pulls up alright and isn't out too long. His score tonight would have increased his price anyway I'd think, which is what most people wanted out of him anyway.

Cousins. I figured a lot of people would think he was too much of a risk for his price....

Before the game, I was discussing Dream Team with a friend, and he asked me if I had Cousins in my side. I don't, but he does. For some reason during that discussion, the sentence "I wouldn't touch him - soft tissue injuries" came into my head randomly. I think that was in the back of my mind a lot of the time with Cousins when he was looking to make his comeback, and eerily happened to slip back in tonight. I never really considered him for Dream Team to be honest. I had a lot of other midfielders in mind before him I guess.

I thought he might break down at some point, but I didn't think it'd be this early. You hate to see it happen to anyone. Hopefully it's not too serious and he can get back on the park soon.

ditto that was such a poor option - ah well he will definitely have a break out year in 09' he mite average 30

I love the summary from Fantasy Freako for Presti in the AFL Prospectus - "They may as well make this guy free." :p

Overall, I'm pretty pleased with how I went in Dream Team tonight. It's really only Raines that is a worry. I had Jeffrey Garlett in my side for a bit, but then moved him out. I probably would have only had him as an emergency this week anyway, so it's not a big deal. He's a great story though, and it's great to see him do as well as he did in his first AFL game. I probably got a price rise out of Andrew Browne, and got an ok score from Jack Riewoldt too. I'm glad I got on Cameron Cloke as well :D

Re: Who Regrets Dream Team Decisions Already?

How can you have a regret already? You probably shouldnt touch your team for first 5-6 rounds IMO. Give your rookies a chance to increase in value, and give your mid pricers a chance to prove themselves. A few trades could be made for incorrect initial selections, but yeh.

You could regret leaving Mitch Robinson on your bench and not as an emergency already...
