Can anyone let me know why Wallace left Richmond after one year???
I remember being excited about getting him and seeing him looking really enthusiatic when he started, trying to pump up his teammates around him after a goal.
Was it the shoddy culture that he was part of considering what he came from.
I read once that he said the Bulldogs were like saviours after that year at Richmond and described it as a lowlight. Has anybody heard him expand on what really happened as i was hoping he would exceed the Rowlings get.
I remember also being thumped by 100 points in a game against the Swans on a Friday night. Another one that we copped that year . He walked into the Old England in Heidelberg that night and glanced at the TV where the carnage was happening but didnt pay much attention after that. Must have been injured but it looked like he had given it away a bit.
