Why do so many people hate us?

I was reading in the AFL board, and so many people call us supporters cocky and arrogant. But I have not read one cocky or arrogant post from a Geelong supporter in there.

It's confusing and frustrating. Why can't we be proud of our boys efforts?

I was reading it this morning and I have to admit it was a laugh. Last week it was the Pie supporters paying out on us and this week it's the Power supporters. Just take it on the chin because nothing will shut up those idiots more than the flag coming to Geelong.

Mate I wouldn't worry about it, as the Brisbane supporter above noted being hated usually stems from jealousy. If Port weren't in it I would hope the cats got up as I have many many long suffering cats supporters as mates including a few that have been to 4 losing grand finals . Most of the people on BF only hate Geelong due to one moron Pussiesflag07.

Everybody called us arrogant in the eighties and like us then your side now doesn't appear to have a weakness ,the cats deserve to win the GF and i hope they do.I enjoy watching Ablett jnr as much as i did his dad.and Johnson is amazing.If the thread was on the Collingwood board i could write pages because i've never liked them but since McGuire has taken over ,i absolutely despise them and that guy in the stupid jacket in the cheer squad just adds fuel to the fire.Good luck on Saturday if you don't win this year you never will.

At least our idiot in our cheer squad is original - I would hate my president to copy the behaviour of a clown in an opposition cheer squad by donning a jacket after a game.

Also, i'd much rather have Edie run our show than the most arrogant man of all - then again, he just suits you to a tee!

I'm Singaporean and live in Highton, so even though there are a few hicks in Geelong, they're not in my area. Corio and Norlane all the way.
