I think Wallace will wait at least a couple of months so he gets to know the players first and then make a decision on the way the train, respect amongst the group and previous on field performances.

Johno will be the next captain as i posted a thread before Wallace was appointed coach i have the info from his cousin i work with that he will be the next captain 190% sure

wallace has stated that the captain will be decided after the pre-season.

Kane Johnson for me too, has all the attributes to make a great leader.

But would everyone's former favourtie whipping boy Joel Bowden be a chance ?

Gained a lot of respect on the field this year when eveyone else was dropping their bundles, seems reasonably intelligent and has been a long term Tiger

Just a thought....I think Coughlan needs a season or two reestablishing himslef after injury. Would not complain with Kane thoug....

Joel would be a big chance, for me he is the one guy pushing Johnson for the honour. He had a great year, is a tiger through and through, and raised his profile in the media etc, starting to become a more vocal part of the team.

If its anyone other than Kane Johnson, I would be REALLY surprised. When he was at Adelaide he was considered to be future captain after Roo stepped down. He shows great leadership both on and off the field.
