Seems to me you are against it by setting unattainable goals to be able to get it. No matter how long we try no team will have completely posting players. We could cull it to 4 teams and we still wouldn't get that.
If only having players in a team that post more than a 30 times in a year is unattainable then the competition is in a sad situation and shouldn't have expanded teams. The goal has to be greater contribution and culling those that are clearly not serious participants is the way to get quality before quantity. Is it a lot to ask players to average just one post in every game they play?
This is where the difference in opinion occurs. Dipper would like heaps of teams with a captain and a list of robots. The competition would be a tactical game between captains.
On the other hand I like to see good game threads with plenty of banter and although I prefer to win, playing the game is more important.
What I'm suggesting is not unreasonable. Get rid of the disinterested and fill the existing teams up. THEN increase teams IF there is sufficient real interest to do so.
