Why no night sessions at Vodafone?

I know they have it now due to the rain delay, but any reason why they don't do it otherwise?

Rod Laver has 3 day matches, 2 nights.
Vodafone has 4 "day" matches on it, but they will generally go just into the night session at rl

If they want higher attendances, reduce VA to 3 matches and have night sessions, at least for Week 1.

Well they do have 1 night match...the last match on Vodafone doesn't start until 7:30pm regardless of other matches finishing early

Actually that's Margaret Court Arena that has the 7:30 night match. Vodafone's last match generally starts around 4:30/5:00PM.

Yeah I have thought they should do this for some time.I don't think its too far off as they are always looking at ways of increasing attendances. There is enough good matches in the first week to do this. Shame Fotel can't just have VA and seven have RLA and then shair the others for the first week.
