We lost bc our best players except for Riewoldt and miles went missing. This isn't dimmas fault but is a huge disappointment

What is dimmas fault is that he made big mistakes on the selection table. Rookie mistakes. The fact that Lennon was left out of the team is a disgrace .he absolutely dominated the week before and if he jumps ship now Dimma will look like a complete goose.

The other thing that is dimmas fault is not stopping the only two players that could beat us boomer and Waite .This was made worse when he played our two worst players on them , hunt and batcelor .
In hindsight he could have put lids or Cotchin on boomer and shifted griff on Waite , or better still dropped batch for astbury .

He wanted to run conca and griff into form , but it blew up in all our faces bc we lost the game .

I expect a few harsh truths should be discussed bc it was a disaster .

IMO Batchelor was the only match up he had for Waite, so what he kicked 4 goals, so did Jack, that didn't lose the game...

He did fail to get cotchin in the game, failed to stop boomer, and failed to wrestle control back of the footy

The fact that we nearly, and maybe should have, pinched it. shows that the structures that are in place are sound.
Another 20% out of Cotch, Lids, Edwards and Ellis and we win comfortably.

I was at the game and can tell you overall, there isn't much separating both sides.

But that been said you played into our strengths. We excel in medium paced brutal arm wrestling type games. We have the big bodies and the maturity for that. We can also kick alot of goals really quickly, hence the 30 points kicked.

I told this to a Tigers mate of mine. If you run and carry, were gone because we don't have the speed.

Knowing that, Brad tagged your speedsters out the game and set up defensive structures really well.

Every time dusty got the ball and dashed, my heart stopped. But then realised he didn't really have many options to hit with his usually silky and accurate kicking.

No doubt - the defence limited the damage somewhat but interesting that the 105 points against was the 2nd highest for us the whole year, 2nd only to the 109 we gave up against the Roo's in round 6!

I just wanted to say hang tight Tiges fans I do understand your frustrations but keep the belief& faith,you have gone so far in the last few years yes there are still some clear areas that need addressing but what I've seen especially in the last couple/few years you have been able to really work through a fair bit of the problem areas.

I understand the concern of the finals performing issue is definitely that important,you guys can certainly play& not only that have been able to with stand the pressure such great wins against the very best on the big stage at home or away to a fortress like Domain,Adelaide Oval,The SCG etc etc so obviously it's just finding out really I guess why it becomes such a problem in September?

But anyway I just wanted to say again stay faithful as you guys always have been in good times& certainly the bad which shows more than anything& I hope you end up getting to where you want& deserve to be.
