Why the anger at young Kepler?

What did I miss ? Kepler hitting the target from 20 metres ?

exactly the point

Kepler's a 21 year old, 6'6" ruckman/forward who was asked to bulk up and play key position defence, and given no favours by the coaching staff. Many talls of that age have barely played 10 games, he's up around 50 - although many of those were forgettable.
Play him in position, in the twos, and wait for the form to come back. It will

Unfortunately i have a feeling that poor old Kep was picked because of his athletic ability rather than his skills, much like Bolton was. I wish recruiters would stop paying so much attention to the draft camp results and concentrate more of their time and effort going and watching these guys play. That's where it counts. You can't teach someone a footy brain, nor can you test for it. It just has to be there, and the only way it will show itself is in a match situation.

You make a good point- I distinctly recall the fanfare of Bradley at the draft by Sheeds and Dud oro, was predicated on his ability to run all day. I don't think he can even do that now. He needs to lift quickly.
