I am just wondering why the great Kevin Bartlett doesn't have anything to do with the Richmond Footy Club. Could you tell me the reasons and whether there is any hope the great man will be back in the near future.

I think the most pertinent thing said about this was that when KB was sacked by Richmond in 1991, after giving decades of service to the place, it was just a place he didn't want to be particularly at anymore.

It's similar to someone who's given tireless, high-quality service for several decades but is let go because of the weakness of the organisation and factors outside that person's control.

I have no problem with KB's stance - I don't think it's going to change at this stage.

Jack Dyer was a forgiving man, pardoning Richmond for sacking him as coach in 1952 after being captain-coach from 1941-49.

If it's good enough for Jack.................

KB

The reason he wont come back is because he is trying to make the club wrong for the decision it made in sacking him from the coaching position of the club

It wasn't directed at you foxhat but sheeds. If as you stated,he was offended at a throw away line by miller then he is 1 sensitive guy.

Interestingly, Frawley's record in the last two seasons (7 wins in both seasons) is exactly the same as KB's record was in his final two seasons as Richmond coach.

Considering that Frawley is being kept on, KB would be feeling even more hard done by!

Maybe so however the current admin is determined to show some stabilty as club and faith in the current coach. I think even KB would understand the reasoning behind this. It's a pity he wasn't afforded the same luxury.
