i think we're the only team to win in perth this yr..
so its not a problem :P

its a shame we win it all in perth.... would have been nice to do it in front of a home crowd... oh well...

I dont think I have ever seen a worse call at such a big moment in NBL history. Wildcats up by 4 and they call a foul on Harvey which granted was their but then they go and give Heal the continuation on the 3 pointer???

YOU HAVE TO BE JOKING!! IT WAS CLEARLY AFTER THE FOUL!!! AND I MEAN CLEARLY!!! How they called it continuation is a joke!

So instead of being up by 3 with a minute to play (1-2 from the line on Harvey's foul) we are locked at 94 a piece? Absolutely shocking! Disgusting even.

I hope we win games 2 and 3 just to shove in the officials faces!!

Yeah I saw that call on the highlights package this morning and it would have to be one of the most bizzare calls in the history on the game. There was a good 3 seconds that Heal had to dribble and almost square up to hit the shot. Serious home town call...
 
so, he was fouled, then hit the three, then got two shots at the line????
 
haha i cant believe Sydney won. I turned it off with about 2 mins to go thinking Perth had won until i saw this post....
 
That was a bizarre, bizarre call. Benefit of the doubt should've gone to the Wildcats.
 
That call was the worst ever. How could anyone possibly believe that Heal's shot was before the foul!? Ridiculous.

In the words of an ex-import "I think that NBL will find someway to pay the refs so that Sydney will win!"

No, Harvey was trying to fight his way through a screen to get to Heal. Harvey pushed over, I think Sheridan, and the foul was on Harvey. Because Sydney were in the bonus it was straight to the line for two shots.

But after Harvey bowled over Sheridan, Heal shoots the 3 from the screen he just came off and everyone calls for continuation??? Worst call I have ever seen.

And Im glad a lot of you agree...just shocking.

Hope we can force it into a decider.

You cant blame us? Your lot had a chance to beat them in the first round and Townsville has their shot in the semi's. Sydney are a good team, as much as people may hate them. Heal is one of the best australian players ever and an absolute crazy shooter. Williams is one of the best imports the NBL has seen. Franklin is also good, Neilson and Melmeth are both in the National squad. They are a very good side.

easty's lot (36'ers) didnt play us in the first round... tho, we easily accounted for his mob 3-0 during the regular season...

again, was just too easy in the end... :P

Ahh I thought Easty was a Tigers fan for some reason.

Bitterly disappointed in losing the GF. Just gotta come back bigger and better next year! Stupid Sydney....still better them winning than the 36ers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or the Tigers.

Their a good side, I still think we are better and we lost the championship on the refs bull**** continuation call. A no call and we are still in front by 3 with just under a minute to play. We probably would have held on.

Then with momentum, a 1 game lead, at home we would have won. But those are the breaks....disappointing yes, but considering I thought we would suck this year without Rogers and Vlahov, making the Grand Final was certainly a plus. Bigger and better next season!

You're kidding? I'm an ABS fan- Anyone But Sydney.

Sydney have the two biggest pricks in basketball on their team.

Needless to say I was going for Perth but not surprisingly they stuffed up, handing the former Violet Crumbles their first title.

I for one, was a broken man.

Nevertheless, congratulations Sydney.

From another Adelaide's fan perspective - it was a kind of damned if they do, damned if they don't GF series. If Perth win, they go one up on the Sixers in the Championship count. If Sydney win... well, Sydney win.

Guey, I thought about that long and hard......about how much I hate Perth and it's fans......and how the Wildcats would take the all time championships lead.....then I thought of Peroxide boy and 'man thang' Goorj, and it all became clear to me ;)
