The free kick against him was 50/50.

His first goal was fair enough, and was a great kick too. I was right behind it and praying like all hell he missed so they didn't get a roll on! (they didn't anyway! )

Second goal was the same sort of push he gave Ellis in the 3rd, but this one was worse. Wasn't paid. This one should have, first one shouldn't have.

Third goal he roved the pack after Lamb had to run off him to spoil McKernan. Soft goal.

But, good to see a superstar back in action!

Fair enough. I wasn't really complaining about the umps here, just taking umbrage to Terry Alderman saying that they were all soft goals.

Last one was. First two weren't (Kouta not getting a free paid against him for his 2nd goal balances him getting one paid against him earlier on.)

True, but as far as the "net" total goes, he only had one soft goal. I don't really care, just being a pedant!

does it really matter?? he got 3 and regardless of whether or not any or all of them were soft - he got them. didnt have much of an impact on the game, but he got them...

in a game where we didn't really score that many goals, i htink 3 gioals is a bit of an impact, i mean sure it wasn't a KOUTA impact of 40 possessions and contributing to 10 goals or so... but you hnbave to remember it was his first game back and you guys were just a warm-up for him.. this whole year is a just a warm up for him.. well these 8 weeks anyway..
