Anything can happen in a short period. Rudd was the most popular PM not that long ago, the Libs had just knocked off Turnball. And now ...
As for a split - well, there's the Greens. I'm more curious to see what happens to the Green supporter base once they delve further into the realms of pragmatic politics.
