I reckon it was stupid of us to let him go. All for a louzy 19th pick. I know Koops will do awesome over there with the Dogs, and I wish he was still down here with the Docks

Great player but ultimately didnt have a place in the side anymore.
He is behind the likes of Hayen,Woods,Parker,Carr and Grover.
Pick 19 was a good outcome.

Yeah Stefoid... I reckon you guys have got yourselves a good'un in ole (young..) Koopsy. He's one of the guys that always screamed "FREO" to me, so sad to see him go.
If he can stay injury free, he'll be an awesone addition to your team.
Has a great attitude, is hard at it, a great tackler, and there was not much more to set a Freo fan's adrenaline pumping than to see Koopsy flying through the air pulling down the impossible screamer....

OOhhhh... Koooooopppsss!!!:D

I saw him in the WAFL grand final and he was awesome. IMHO he should have won the Simpson medal (BOG).

Can play at either end, but looks best running off half back. And he's a NICE bloke too. Hope he gets plenty of game time at the Dogs, and does really well.

I will miss him simply because he's been around almost since day 1. But he wasn't getting a game and when he was he wasn't a contributor. He's got a lot of ability and is a great athlete, but is not accountable if he's played in the backline, doesn't have the physical toughness to play in the midfield and doesn't seem to be able to compete in the forward line.

From a sheer football point of view, I can't say he'll be missed too much, although that depends on who we pick up with pick 19. :)

"what can you tell doggy supporters about this guy?"

Have a look at how many games he has missed over the years due to injury! If he stands up he'll be a plus but be prepared for a continuation of his injury problems.

Stop trolling Yakuza. I have not seen a Freo post where you have anything positive to say.
Wasn't it you that started a thread on swabby not being here at this moment a while ago?
If you cared to check his history you will know that he missed 12 mths (22 games) with a knee recon, he was recruited and played senior footy too young and had a lot of Macpharlap type problems (Gerard said that he grew 9cm during his time there)

Koopsie is a star and the Doggies are lucky to have him.

Bull****!

The bottom line is he is not good enough to get a regular game at the Dockers due, to among other things, the fact that he is too unreliable physically. That's why they were happy to unload him. Go and check with the Match Committee.

Re Schwab, he still hasn't got a contract past the end of this month.
