Will you rest players for Anzac day?

Hi guys just wondering if you know whether you will rest any older players this week, for Anzac day?

Or will you play them this week, as St Kilda is tougher opposition?

I am talking about, Michael, Fletcher, Hird, Lollyd (with that hammy), Hefferan, etc..

The pies are not playing clement this week, as he wont be able to come back from injury & play two games in 5 days. Same with Buckley.

Didak is playing a half for williamstown then should be in for Anzac day. We are kind of lucky that a few of our senior players have been out through injury, so it makes the decision easier!


Ps Good luck Anzac day (I dont really mean that, hope its a great match though!

If anyone i'd imagine only Hird would be rested and i'm not sure he would support such a move.

I doubt we'll rest anyone, just do what you appear to be doing with Didak/Clement/Buckley for JJ and Campo who might come back in on Anzac Day.

Hopefully no injuries for either side on the day.

Personally i think it is a stupid idea to rest fully fit players for a game, we want to win every game we can and to do that we must play the best side we can every week.

it would be lovely to be in a position to give Hirdy a 10 day break (miss the saints this week) - Play and win another ANZAC day medal - another 10 day rest and dominate vs Hawthorn..............
