Williamstown ground redevelopment to start in 2007

After some time the Seagulls will begin works on a new stand behind the goals. Games will be shifted away from the ground during part of the construction process.

Love the old stand at the Burbank, but a new stand is the sort of moving forward that is great news for the VFL.

I hope you are right. Would hate to see the Larry Floyd stand go. I will always fondly remember how loud the supporters sitting in the stand sounded when 'Town got a run on in the last quarter of a close game. It was always worth an extra 2-3 goals if the mighty Towners kicked that way in the last quarter.
