None of the froms played? Swan, Burns, Thomas, O'Brien, Davies, H.Shaw, Richards??
4 of the Bombers 7 froms played???? Rioli, Richards, Peverill, Dyson, does that mean we might be blessed to see Carteldge or Henneman as a suprise late inclusion?

I hate these allegations.
There is no accountability at all when internet users post this kind of stuff.

there's accountability when my girlfriends sister is seeing chris' cousin and he says this.

;)

I thought Rhyce's skills were really poor. I think it was the second quarter where he got about 4 touches in 5 minutes and not one of them went close to hitting the target.

A bit tough, I know, given he is just resuming his comeback - however, we can't afford to have him missing targets and be up for senior consideration. We will have to be very patient with him and maybe even look to promote him in the latter part of the season.

Tex Walker confirmed what everyone already knew. He simply can't play. Back to Willy seconds for him - why on earth is he still on our list. I'm not sure if he got hurt or maybe it was the fact he was caught on the wrong side of Prendergrast (thank god he can't kick - what are Carlton thinking having him on their list?) a couple of times that got him dragged never to return.

to put it lightly, AFL is not chris' highest priority.

I wouldn't be writing egan off yet. He has only been in the system for one year and showed enough last year that he could be a very good player.

while I don't know if he will or will not make it there are still enough positives to persist with him.

I actually think he may be the type of player who on his day will be better in the Afl than Vfl. There is a lot more space in the Afl for him to use his run and pace and his type often find it harder at Vfl level.

He definately needs to lift his intensity and if what you say is correct then he is still young enough to change his attitude. Remember Afl was not Taz's highest priority at egans age.

At the end of the day players who can run like the wind , have a great leap and have the hands(i reckon his one touch skills are as good as most going around) don't grow on trees.

I reckon everyone has expected him to walk straight into our best 22 and yet he is still only 18 or 19. Give him time

From what I saw, the only really good performers for Willie were Shaw, Pendlebury, J Cloke and Williams.

How walker is still on the squad is a mystery and Fanning still cant get the basics right and I cant see how he is going to get back into the seniors.

i knew that walker was named for the match but when i was watching i thought he must have been omitted! can not recall seeing him once!

I tend to agree with you on egan, i think with picking of dale thomas we have realised that it is not worth picking up troubled kids! i wouldnt be suprised if egan ended up leaving like cole, cant see what all the hype is about to be honest. All i can say is that im glad we changed our recruiting criteria/strategy

He was the guy 5 meters behind the marking forward.:D

Saw reserves last week, players like Picken, Stretton, Galea and McKenzie won heaps of the ball hope they get run in the seniors soon. All good ball skills.

Picken played yesterday.

The best Pies players (from my vantage point of being at the game) were easily Jason Cloke and Rowe.

I'm of the opinion that Ryan Cook will be a handy player when he puts a bit of bulk on too, seen him three times now and he has shown to me that he is definently up to it.

Egan had a dip, Pendlebury was fairly good, Anthony goes hard at it, wasn't much more to write home about except the ********wit next to me that was yelling at the umpires for the whole day like it was a Grand Final in the last minute and the scores were tied. I suppose I should have realised that someone actually wearing a Williamstown scarf wouldn't have the greatest brain capacity. (Or have seen a razor sometimes in their life, worst beard ever)

But my Butchers, cleaners, mother in law who works with a friend of the receptionist at the Lexus Centre, said it was all crap

I must of been at a different game to you Hoggy. Rowe was absolute crap. 9 out of 10 possessions were turned over, easy overheads dropped, footsteps heard, indecisive and not up to it.
Walker is overweight, doesn't look interested and may of even left the ground at half time. He was no where to be seen in the rooms after the game.
Egan made a habit of turning back into traffic, Iles sat most of the game on the pine, Nicholls watched on from the sidelines and Jack Anthony was spanked deep in defense.
Heath Lawry was towelled up, Ryan Cook got a lot of the ball but most of it on the wing or across half back. There was no system at all up forward.
C1 stood out, Pendlebury continues to impress, Williams tried hard all day.
Basically the Bullants dictated the flow of the game and were prepared to run hard to where the ball was.
Rhyce was good in patches but I think some have over rated his impact on the game.
Still not convinced about Booch.
