One way that I feel Collingwood could improve is to make Williamstown a premiership contender every year. We have the cash to score the better VFL players. To obtain ex-afl players who are hard, good kicks and great work ethics. Players that are too old/slow to now make it in AFL but are perfect for VFL for a few years. If we can install a winning feeling into Williamstown, then when the Collingwood listed players get call up to the seniors they will play with more confidents.
If you have the right players in the VFL it may show the youngers to value of training hard on and off the track, the right way to kick during a game, or just to get the general skill level up overall. Even just to listen to the Ex-AFL players stories and experiences can help teach a rookie what it takes to have a long AFL career.
I read that Andrew Williams has been sign to Williamstown

This guy never had the overall talent for AFL, but was an extremely hard worker. A gym addict. To retain the service of Andrew is the right direction. He will lead by example in the gym.
